Burlington, Vermont, was the destination for eight members of the Central Oklahoma Riders on the Storm, the JDRF’s Central Oklahoma’s Ride Team. Together, the team raised more than $38,000 in dedication and commitment to support research for the prevention, treatment and cure of Type 1 Diabetes. Jennifer & Troy Tortorici, Tom Welin, Nancy Wilson, MaryAnne Tullius, Pat Morgan, and Patrice & Scott Greenawalt, rode their bikes a collective total of 530 miles on August 14, 2012!

The Central Oklahoma Riders on the Storm ride together year-round, and have a certified cycling coach, Scott Greenawalt, to help prepare each rider to reach individual distance-riding goals.
